The HP NC6770 PCI-X Gigabit Server Adapter is a fibre-optic networking solution to combine Gigabit Ethernet speed with PCI-X bus technology. The HP NC6770 is a single port Gigabit adapter that supports 1000Mbps speed. Along with other advanced features that ProLiant customers have come to expect, the HP NC6770 includes support for network fail over and load balancing, PCI hot plug capability, Jumbo Frames, Dual Address Cycles (DAC), large "send" offload capability, and Pre-boot Execution Environment (PXE).
